Dear 2023 Freshmen: Welcome to join Nantong University! Please read the registration instructions carefully and get prepared in advance!
1. Registration Time:
9 a.m.--5 p.m., September 7th, 2023 (Thursday)
Important reminder: The international students’ dormitory shall be available from September 7. Please go through the check-in procedure while you register. If you plan to arrive in Nantong in advance, please solve the accommodation by yourself!
2. Registration Place：
Room 310, International Students’ Dormitory, Building 20, Seyuan Campus, Nantong university, No.9 Seyuan Road, Chongchuan District, Nantong city, Jiangsu Province.
3. Documents Required for Registration:
* Passport; Admission Letter (original); JW202 form (original);
* Graduation Certificate of the Previous Stage, Degree Certificate, Transcript (all the above must be original);
* Original HSK Certificate (only for the freshmen taking Chinese-medium courses)

4. Transportation:
1) By plane: After arriving at Nantong Xingdong Airport, you can take a taxi to the campus.
2) By high-speed rail or bullet train: Please buy the train ticket to Nantong Station or Nantong West Station.
* From Nantong Station, you can take Bus No. 41 to the Seyuan Campus directly;
* From Nantong west station, you can take the subway line 1 and get off at the Nantong University Stop.
3) By bus: After arriving at Nantong East Bus Station, you can take Bus No. 83 to the Seyuan Campus directly.
5. Matters Needing Attention:
Freshmen who cannot come for registration on September 7, 2023 must submit and send the written application letter for postponing the registration with the relevant supporting materials to gjjy@ntu.edu.cn. before 5 p.m., September 5, 2023. Only after receiving the approval from the university will allow you to postpone the
registration.
The registration postponement period for freshmen shall be no longer than 2 weeks, That is to say, you must come for registration before 5 p.m., September 21, 2023.
Those who fail to submit the written application or those who did submit but fail to register before the stipulated deadline without any good reason, such as force majeure, shall be deemed as giving up their admission qualification. Their student status shall NOT be retained.
6. Life guide:
1) There are four distinct seasons in Nantong. Please prepare appropriate clothes.
2) Students living on campus need to prepare beddings, cleaning items by themselves.
The bed size in dormitory rooms is 90cm*190cm.
